Using custom snippets

You can collect reusable snippets in a site's Custom tab from pages open in a document window. The snippets can be text or objects of any kind or the corresponding source code. You can also collect snippets by pasting the contents of the Clipboard, using any application to copy to the Clipboard. The snippets you collect also appear in the Site Extras tab of the Objects palette. You can use snippets from either place in site pages.

You can also collect snippets in the Custom tab of the Objects palette. Snippets collected in this way can be used with any site. For information, see Working with frequently used objects.

Collect snippets for a single site rather than any site if you plan to work with the site on more than one computer using an instance of Adobe GoLive--for example, on both a Windows and a Mac OS computer. That way the snippets will be included in the site file, which moves from computer to computer.
